our 3 days Masai Mara budget camping safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi. Heading southwest through the scenic Great Rift Valley Viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. You will then pass through the bustling town of Mai Mahiu before continuing through Narok, a vibrant Maasai town known for its rich culture. From there, the journey takes you across the vast plains toward the Masai Mara. The thrill in this 3 days Masai Mara safari is unmatched.
Depart your hotel and drive through the beautiful landscape of the Kikuyu farmlands before descending to the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley past the extinct volcanoes of Longonot and Suswa, to Narok for picnic lunch. After lunch continue across the Loita Plains pasts occupied and abandoned manyattas [the nomadic Maasai villages] plastered with cow dung. On arrival in Maasai Mara proceed on for a game drive.
A full day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Maasai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black manned lion, leopard, cheetah & elephants.
After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, embark on your return journey to Nairobi.
