Itinerary

Arrive at JKIA airport and are received by Diwaka Safari representative and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel. The reminder of the day at leisure.

After your breakfast commence on a drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Amboseli national park is one of the most popular parks on the Tanzania border, offering unique spectacle; the backdrop is the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain proudly standing at 19,344ft, and sometimes known as the “ROOF OF AFRICA.”After lunch, game drive until sunset in the expansive Amboseli plains, which are home to herds of elephants that feed on the large acacia trees.

 

Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Early morning game drive after which you return to the Lodge/Camp for breakfast. After a while of relaxation, you will return to the park for further game drives in the afternoon.

After your breakfast commence drive via Nairobi to Aberdare National Park. Afternoon and night game viewing from the Lodge precincts where you will see animals coming for a drink in the nearby water hole.

Breakfast at the Lodge this morning, depart for the Rift Valley passing via Nyahururu with a brief stopover to catch a glimpse of the Thompson Fall, the highest waterfall in Kenya. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch at a Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing & bird watching drive.

OPTION 1:

Early evening drive to Lake Naivasha area for dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge / Naivasha Sawela Lodge Naivasha Simba Lodge (F/B)

After breakfast, commence drive south via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the Lodge or Camp. Late afternoon game viewing drive.

Dinner & overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge / Mara Leisure Camp / Mara Simba Lodge F/B) Mara Serena Lodge / Mara Sarova Camp / Mara Sentrim Camp (F/B)

After early morning breakfast, head out for game viewing with lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon visit to a traditional Maasai village a kilometer away from the camp and situated in the middle of the Mara, constructed with natural materials from the orange - leafed croton shrubs will give you an experience you have always longed to have. Here you have a chance to interact with people who have maintained their unique cultural ways of life for many decades. Tall and elegant with narrowly plaited hair painted in red ochre, the village warriors (Moran) perform cultural dances thrilling to the bottom of the heart, leaving you with lasting memories to take home. Return to your camp with a game drive en-route.

 

Dinner & overnight at your Lodge

After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, enjoy game drive enroute as you embark on your return journey to Nairobi for your onward flight home.
